About Frequency Music
Frequency is a diverse rock band from Melbourne that pays tribute to the rock of ages with their live and raw performances.
Formed in 2010, the band features powerhouse female lead vocalist Cynthia Gallie and dynamic female drummer and vocalist Tanya Cavanagh, alongside Rob Taylor on lead guitar & vocals, Joey Bazzano on rhythm guitar and vocals, and Kevin Hunt on bass and vocals.
Known for their electrifying stage presence and passionate renditions of classic rock anthems, Frequency has become a standout act, celebrating the timeless spirit of rock ‘n’ roll with every performance.
Frequency is available for bookings from a five piece band up to our full seven piece band!

Rob Taylor
Lead Guitar & Vocals
Rob is one of the original founders of Frequency. Rob is a talented musician and enjoys performing all types of music. Rob often sings songs from Cold Chisel, B52’s and plays lead guitar
Kevin Hunt AKA - Wah
Bass & Vocals
Kevin Hunt is a seasoned bass guitarist with years of experience playing in multiple bands. His deep groove and solid rhythm foundation add strength and depth to Frequency’s sound.
Tanya Cavanagh
Drums and Vocals
Tanya Cavanagh has been involved in the music industry since the day she could walk, talk and hit pots and pans. As a singing drummer, Tanya has toured nationally and internationally in a range of diverse acts.
Simon C
Lead Guitar
Simon is one of newest members of the band. Simon has toured internationally with many bands including fellow Queen tribute show “We will rock you” in which he was hand picked by Brian May of Queen! .
Damo
Keyboards, Vocals & Engineer
Damien Montalto is a multi-talented musician whose versatility sets him apart. As Frequency’s go-to keyboardist and audio engineer, Damien brings a unique blend of musicality and technical expertise to every performance.
